Magnetic Poem On A Wall, Glowing Video, Floating Flowers On River Ems, Silk Wrapping Paper 2008
Poems by Hans Ulrich Treichel, Ron Winkler, Marion Poschmann and Karin Hake
This work was commissioned by Literaturbüro Detmold and was meant to visualize
contemporary poetry in the small city of Rietberg. All four installations bear transitory and dissociative character.
Magnetic Poem is cut from a magnetic foil and put on counter-mangnetic buttons on a wall in a public garden. All words can be moved or taken away. Glowing Video was written in the darkness with sparklers, photographed and screened in a construction site of skeleton cottage.
Silk Wrapping Paper is a Give-Away-Action, small shops like butcher, bookshop and jeweler wrapped their products into this transparent paper. Floating Flowers formed words made of flowers swimming throughalong the river Ems and letting the water become the conductor of the poem.
